" band of pre-teens who live in the "Goon Docks" neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon attempting to save their homes from demolition, and in doing so, discover an old Spanish map that leads them on an adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willie, a legendary 17th-century pirate."
A decent film that could have been better if it had a better script but still manages to be worth watching. I enjoyed seeing Ke Huy Quan again, most will known him for being Short Round in the second Indiana Jones Movie. It was also quite fun to see all the actors since I have seen them perform now, so seeing them young is quite interesting. The comedy present in the film was a little bland and slightly childish as you would think since almost all of the main cast are children. I thought the direction could have been better as could the feeling present in the movie. I did enjoy the filming style though as it really felt like a good 80's movie. If you like 80's movies you will most likely like this film.
