Day 60 continued - Dracula III: Legacy (American)

"In the near future, Uffizi and Luke travel to the remote reaches of war torn Romania to rescue Elizabeth and finish the vampire once and for all. Along the way, they encounter TV news journalist and a corps of rebels trying to fight the vampire uprising which plagues their country."

Better than the first two but there is still a lot of room for improvement. The direction and filming style is better, after three movies they have found the perfect balance of darkness. Even with a cast of people who have done successful movies this is not one of them. I suggest you skip this move, you know what skip the whole series and be cautious about watching any movie named Dracula.

Day 25 continued - nosferatu (German)

"Thomas Hutter lives in the fictitious German city of Wisborg. His employer, Knock, sends Hutter to Transylvania to visit a new client named Count Orlok. Hutter entrusts his loving wife Ellen to his good friend Harding and Harding's sister Annie, before embarking on his long journey. Nearing his destination in the Carpathian mountains, Hutter stops at an inn for dinner"-wiki

Honestly I wasn't really impressed with this film, it was kind of boring. I did happen to like the shadow work present in the film. It really did feel like a ripoff of Bram Stroker's Dracula. I did like a few scenes with Count Orlock but not that many. I will say that I think this movie was state of the art when it was first released. I do like Orlock as a character but I cant say much about him. I also think the film was slightly rushed as not a whole lot happens. I also don't really like the ending of the film, there really wasn't anything to do it. If you happen to like old movies then this is the movie for you.

Little Info

The studio purposely ripped off Bram Stoker's Dracula because they couldn't get the rights to use the book.

Stoker's heirs sued and won a courtcase having all copies burned but one edition of this movie managed to be saved.
