Day 97 - Out of the Dark (Hong Kong)

"Stephen Chow is Leo, a mental patient/ghostbuster who is a parody of the character Léon from the 1994 French film The Professional who talks to his plant for assistance, co-starring Karen Mok as Ah Kwan, a curious young girl who gets caught up with all the spooky situations. The pair are then joined by a brigade of quirky security guards in an attempt to get rid of the evil lurking in a supposedly haunted apartment building situated in Hong Kong."

Not the best Stephen Chow movie but it was still entertaining. I enjoyed the fact that his character and the heroine were parodies of two characters from one of my favorite films Leon: The Professional. There were a few nonsense laughing moments but besides that it wasn't as funny as his other works. I really love Hong Kong films, I fully would support their film industry if I could but for now I am just a fan. So as a fan I will say that anyone that likes Stephen Chows comedy style then this is the right film for you. Beware though, this is a darker role as it features blood, violence, and gore.

Day 31 - Scary Movie 5 (American)

Scary Movie 5 (2013) Poster

"A couple begin to experience some unusual activity after bringing their lost nieces and nephew home. With the help of home-surveillance cameras, they learn they're being stalked by a nefarious demon."

A lot better than I thought but its still not that good. The series should have ended with the second one. Its too much of a parody to be anything that good at least Kim Kardashian wasn't in it. There were a few laughable moments but not much. Most of the movie was very stupid and slightly annoying.

Day 16 - Hoodwinked (American)

"It retells the folktale Little Red Riding Hood as a police investigation, using flashbacks to show multiple characters' points of view."
Its a really cheap movie that uses the program MAYA but I felt like they didn't use their time wisely. The animation was weak, it needed way more in-betweens and to follow the rules of animation better. The only good thing about this film was the voice cast which consisted of XZibit, Jim Belushi, Andy Dick, Anne Hathaway, Patrick Warburton and many others. I suggest you skip this film as it is such a bad movie.
