"Geisha, the twilight of flowers, is a journey to the secret world of Geishas of Kyoto, Japan's ancient capital. Filmmaker Romain Guélat takes us on a rare journey into this hidden world usually closed to western eyes"
A very eye opening documentary about the life of geishas, maikos, and everyone else involved in that world. It really is nice to see how geishas can still survive in the modern world. Its truly a remarkable profession, that is traditional but modern at the same time. Now the documentary itself was a bit dated and I wish it was a little longer. It was still entertaining to see this world, that as an American I have never seen.
